The ABRA Recreational Riding Program was created to honor members who ride simply for the joy of spending time with their horses. Launched in 2023, this program recognizes the dedication, hours, and partnership that come from recreational riding, whether you're out on a trail, riding in the arena for fun, or taking lessons to feel more confident in the saddle.

Unlike show-focused programs, the ABRA Recreational Riding Program highlights the value of a well-seasoned trail or pleasure horse. The equine industry continues to place high value on horses with real-world experience, and this program allows riders to showcase that time and develop a recognized riding record.

Participants earn recognition at 200, 300, 400, and 500 hours, making it a great way to track your progress and set personal goals. All ages and riding backgrounds are welcome, and logging hours is simple and based on the honor system.
