The American Buckskin Registry Association (ABRA) is proud to introduce the 2026 ABRA Youth Ambassador Contestants, a talented group of young horsemen and horsewomen who represent the future of our association and the equine industry.

The Youth Ambassador Program recognizes young leaders who demonstrate excellence in horsemanship, leadership, sportsmanship, community involvement, and dedication to the values of ABRA. These contestants serve as role models for youth members while helping promote the organization throughout the year.

Why the ABRA Youth Ambassador Program Matters

The Youth Ambassador Program is designed to develop future leaders within the equine industry. Participants gain valuable experience in:

  • Public speaking

  • Leadership development

  • Community engagement

  • Industry promotion

  • Personal and professional growth

  • Building lifelong connections within the horse community

ABRA believes investing in youth is one of the most important ways to strengthen the future of our association and preserve the traditions of buckskin horse ownership and competition.

Supporting the Next Generation of Equine Leaders

The success of ABRA depends on passionate young members who are willing to step forward and represent the association. Programs like the Youth Ambassador Contest help encourage confidence, responsibility, and leadership while creating opportunities that extend far beyond the show arena.

Whether competing in the show pen, volunteering in their communities, or serving as ambassadors for the association, these contestants represent the values that make ABRA strong.

We encourage all members, exhibitors, families, and supporters to congratulate the contestants and cheer them on throughout the World Championship Show.

Join Us at the ABRA World Championship Show

The ABRA World Championship Show brings together exhibitors, families, breeders, trainers, and enthusiasts from across the country to celebrate Buckskin, Dun, Red Dun, Grulla, Dunalino, and Perlino horses.

Be sure to follow the Youth Ambassador competition and help us recognize these exceptional young leaders as they compete for the opportunity to represent ABRA.

Good luck to all of our 2026 contestants!
