New Mexico Buckskin Horse Association (NMBHA) is an active ABRA Charter Club

Regional growth fuels national success. The New Mexico Buckskin Horse Association (NMBHA) is an active ABRA Charter Club committed to promoting Buckskin horses while offering inclusive, affordable competition opportunities throughout New Mexico.


As a recognized ABRA Charter Club, NMBHA strengthens the Buckskin community while welcoming participation from all breeds and colors.


Expanding Opportunity as an ABRA Charter Club in New Mexico

As a dedicated ABRA Charter Club, NMBHA focuses on accessibility, performance, and community engagement.


The association offers:

  • Seven shows in the 2026 season

  • All Breed and Cattle classes

  • English and Western divisions

  • Member eligibility for year-end awards

  • Affordable $10 annual membership


This structure encourages participation at every level, from youth and amateur riders to experienced competitors.
