Emilee Yost of Nebraska is proving that versatility and determination can take you to the top, in more than one arena. As an ABRA Youth Ambassador, Emilee recently accomplished something few riders even attempt: she successfully competed in both the AQHA West and AQHA East Level 1 Championships, dominating disciplines that are usually miles apart.
From working hunter over fences to ranch trail, Emilee has shown an extraordinary ability to cross traditional discipline lines with grace and grit. These classes require not only different skill sets but also different mindsets, one rooted in precision and polish, the other in authenticity and practicality. Yet for Emilee, it’s just another day in the saddle.
“Being able to ride in such different classes has taught me so much about my horse and myself,” Emilee shared. “It’s made me a more confident, flexible rider.”

Her commitment to improving across multiple disciplines highlights not just talent — but true horsemanship.

As an ABRA Ambassador, Emilee brings visibility to the values that define our organization: integrity, dedication, and a love for the horse. She’s not only a talented competitor, but a role model for fellow youth exhibitors who may be inspired to broaden their horizons in the show pen.
