The safety of exhibitors, spectators, volunteers, and staff is a top priority during the ABRA World Championship Show. To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone on the grounds, Expo Square has established guidelines regarding the use of motorized personal transportation devices.
If you plan to bring an electric scooter, e-bike, golf cart, hoverboard, one-wheel, or similar device, please review the Expo Square Transportation Device Policy before arriving.
Understanding the Expo Square Transportation Device Policy
Expo Square permits the use of certain motorized personal transportation devices on the grounds, provided they are operated responsibly and safely.
Under the Expo Square Transportation Device Policy, all operators must:
Yield to pedestrians at all times
Maintain safe speeds and remain in control of their device
Follow all posted signage and instructions from Expo Square staff, security personnel, and event management
Operate devices in a manner that does not create safety hazards for others
These guidelines are designed to reduce congestion, improve pedestrian safety, and create a more enjoyable environment for everyone attending the event.
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are not permitted under the Expo Square Transportation Device Policy:
Reckless operation
Racing or competitive riding
Performing stunts or tricks
Excessive speed
Any activity that endangers guests, exhibitors, or staff
Additionally, motorized personal transportation devices are not allowed inside Expo Square buildings unless specifically authorized.
Devices Covered by This Policy
The policy applies to:
Electric scooters
E-bikes
Hoverboards
One-wheels
Golf carts
Other motorized personal transportation devices
Please remember that permission to use a device on the grounds does not exempt operators from following all safety requirements.
Mobility Device Exception
The Expo Square Transportation Device Policy does not apply to:
Wheelchairs
Mobility scooters
Other mobility devices used by individuals with disabilities
These devices remain permitted as necessary accessibility accommodations.
Consequences for Non-Compliance
Expo Square reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or prohibit the use of any device that creates a safety concern or interferes with event operations.
Failure to follow the policy may result in:
Removal of the device from use
Removal from the property
Additional action as determined by Expo Square management
Help Keep the ABRA World Show Safe
Every year, exhibitors and spectators travel from across the country to participate in the ABRA World Championship Show. By following the Expo Square Transportation Device Policy, you help create a safer environment for horses, riders, families, exhibitors, and guests.
Before arriving in Tulsa, please take a moment to review these guidelines and share them with your barn family, trainers, friends, and fellow exhibitors.
Working together helps ensure everyone enjoys a safe, successful, and memorable World Show experience.
