ABRA YES Youth Educational Support Program: Applications Now Open
The ABRA YES Youth Educational Support Program is now accepting applications for the upcoming year. Created to support ABRA youth in their educational pursuits before entering college, this program provides meaningful financial assistance to help young members continue learning, growing, and preparing for their future.
The YES Program reflects ABRA’s long-standing commitment to youth development, education, and leadership within the buckskin and color horse community.
What Is the ABRA YES Youth Educational Support Program?
The ABRA YES Youth Educational Support Program was established in 2017 to provide educational funding opportunities for ABRA youth. The program is primarily funded through donations and breeding auctions generously supported by stallion owners within the pleasure horse industry.
Each year, funds raised through the YES Program allow ABRA to award $500 Youth Educational Support awards to qualifying youth members.
Who Can Apply and What Is Awarded?
The ABRA YES Youth Educational Support Program is open to current ABRA youth members who are pursuing educational goals prior to college.
Program details include:
✔️ Open to ABRA Youth members
✔️ Each YES award is $500
✔️ Funds support educational goals before college
✔️ Applications are reviewed by the ABRA Youth Committee
✔️ Awards are announced at the ABRA World Championship Show in July
✔️ Recipients do not need to be present to be awarded
