The ABRA JR/SR Youth Ambassador Program is a leadership opportunity designed to empower young equestrians who are passionate about horses, community involvement, and representing the American Buckskin Registry Association on a national stage.

As we look ahead to the 2026 competition year, ABRA is proud to recognize the youth who have already stepped forward, and to invite more young leaders to enter before the June 1 application deadline.

What Is the ABRA  JR/SR Youth Ambassador Program?

The ABRA JR/SR Youth Ambassador Program is open to youth 18 years and under who actively support ABRA and its mission. The program focuses on leadership development, sportsmanship, and promoting the buckskin, dun, and grulla horse community both in and out of the show arena.

Youth Ambassadors serve a one-year term, acting as representatives of ABRA at events, online, and within their local equine communities.

2026 ABRA JR/SR Youth Ambassador Contestants

ABRA is excited to congratulate the youth who have already entered the 2026 ABRA JR/SR Youth Ambassador Program.

These contestants will compete for the Youth Ambassador titles at the ABRA World Championship Show, held July 23–August 1, 2026.

Current 2026 JR/SR Youth Ambassador Contestants include:

  • Braelyn Stokes (SR Contestant)

  • McKenna Kinler (SR Contestant)

Additional entries will be added as applications are received.

How the ABRA JR/SR Youth Ambassador Program Competition Works

Youth Ambassador contestants compete during the ABRA World Championship Show, where they complete age-appropriate horsemanship patterns as part of the evaluation process. Winners earn the honor of representing ABRA throughout the following year.

At the conclusion of their term, Youth Ambassadors pass their title on to the next year’s winners, continuing ABRA’s long-standing tradition of youth leadership and involvement.

Recognition & Awards

Participants in the ABRA JR/SR Youth Ambassador Program receive meaningful recognition for their dedication, including:

  • An embroidered Youth Ambassador sash

  • A personalized silver buckle

  • Features in the ABRA World Show Souvenir Program

  • Visibility on the ABRA website and social media platforms

How to Enter the ABRA JR/SR Youth Ambassador Program

It was nice to read about the 2026 ABRA Jr/Sr Youth Ambassador contestants and how the program highlights both leadership and horsemanship skills in young participants. I found it especially interesting that contestants are judged not just on riding ability but also on communication and community involvement, which feels like a well-rounded approach. It kind of made me think about how different fields—whether youth programs like this or even something unrelated like a Finance Assignment Help Service in Australia—also value a mix of practical skills and clear thinking. Curious to see how the final selections turn out this year.
