ABRA JR/SR Youth Ambassador Program: Applications Now Open

The ABRA JR/SR Youth Ambassador Program is now accepting applications from ABRA youth who are passionate about promoting the association and representing ABRA at events and activities throughout the year. This leadership-focused program gives young members the opportunity to serve as ambassadors while building confidence, communication skills, and lifelong connections.

Youth Ambassadors play an important role in supporting ABRA’s mission and inspiring the next generation of buckskin enthusiasts.

What Is the ABRA JR/SR Youth Ambassador Program?

The ABRA JR/SR Youth Ambassador Program is designed for youth 18 years and under who actively promote and support ABRA and its programs. Ambassadors represent the association during the ABRA World Championship Show and throughout the year.

The program includes two age divisions:

• Junior Ambassador: Ages 13 & under

• Senior Ambassador: Ages 14–18

Youth Ambassador positions are held for one year, with ambassadors passing their titles to the following year’s winners.

Who Can Apply for the ABRA JR/SR Youth Ambassador Program?

The ABRA JR/SR Youth Ambassador Program is open to eligible ABRA youth members who want to serve as leaders and representatives of the association.

Program highlights include:

• ✔️ Open to ABRA youth 18 years and under

• ✔️ Two age divisions: Junior and Senior

• ✔️ Competition held during the ABRA World Championships

• ✔️ Age-appropriate patterns performed as part of the selection process

• ✔️ One-year ambassador term

Recognition and Opportunities for Youth Ambassadors

Youth Ambassadors receive special recognition and visibility throughout their year of service, including:

• An embroidered sash

• A personalized silver buckle

• Features in the ABRA World Show Souvenir Program

• Recognition on the ABRA website and social media platforms

These experiences help youth build leadership skills, confidence, and a strong connection to the ABRA community.
