ABRA Challenge Classes at the 2026 World Show: Open to All Breeds & How to Enter

🏆 ABRA Challenge Classes at the 2026 World Show

The ABRA Challenge Classes are one of the most exciting additions to the 2026 ABRA World Show—and they are designed to open the door to more exhibitors than ever before.

For the first time, these featured classes are open to all breeds, giving riders across disciplines the opportunity to compete at one of the most recognized shows in the industry.

Whether you are a seasoned competitor or looking to step into the ABRA World Show for the first time, the ABRA Challenge Classes offer a unique combination of accessibility, competition, and added money.

🤠 What Are the ABRA Challenge Classes?

The ABRA Challenge Classes include two featured events:

  • All Breed Ranch Challenge — $500 Added

  • All Breed Western Pleasure Versatility Challenge — $500 Added

These classes are designed to showcase versatility, performance, and horsemanship while welcoming exhibitors from a wide range of breeds and backgrounds.

🐴 ABRA Challenge Classes Are Open to All Breeds

One of the biggest advantages of the ABRA Challenge Classes is simple:

👉 You do NOT need to own a buckskin or dun horse to compete

Exhibitors with:

  • Quarter Horses

  • Paint Horses

  • Appaloosas

  • Palominos

  • And other registered breeds

…are all eligible to participate, making this one of the most inclusive opportunities at the ABRA World Show.

📋 ABRA Challenge Classes Rules (What You Need to Know)

Before entering, it is important to review the official rules for the ABRA Challenge Classes.

The rules are clearly outlined in the ABRA World Show Rulebook:

👉 Challenge Class rules are located on pages 2–3
