Dinah Coop

2021 Re-Elected BOD Member

I’m Dinah Coop, married to Dean, live in Inola, OK and travel into many states to visit children and grandchildren. I was a marketing manager with AT&T for 30 years and have now been employed by the Tulsa County Assessor for the past 13 years. At the county, I appraise Farm and Business assets and machinery. My husband and I were involved in the Quarter Horse Racing Industry for many years.

We raised several horses that had successful careers both on and off the track. We sold our racing stock a few years ago and have since focused on our Halter horses. I have been a member of ABRA since 1996 and did show All-Around for a number of those years. Now we enjoy showing Halter with ABRA as well as other organizations. We’ve had some ABRA World Champions, Reserve Champions and all of the horses that we have shown have placed very well at the ABRA World Shows. I have also been on the BOD for Oklahoma Buckskin for 15 years and work hard to promote the ABRA Charter Clubs.

I’ve been on the ABRA BOD for 3 years and have witnessed the organization listen to its membership, implement some great ideas and support those that help grow our association. As ABRA continues to head in the right direction, I hope to continue as an ABRA Board Member. I know it’s a great place to showcase the versatility of our horses, mules, ponies and miniatures in both the Regular and Buckskin-Bred Registries.
