Todd used his scholarship money to assist in the expenses while attending Blinn Junior College, in Brenham, TX.
As I am now into my second year of attending Blinn Junior college, studying Animal Science with the intentions of transferring to Texas A&M University where I will study Poultry Science.
While attending Blinn, I have been on the Livestock Judging team participating in contests in many different states. I just recently returned from Denver, the National Western, where I was a member of the Car Load team, placing 7’th high individual and our team placed First. It was exciting to be in Denver and have done so well.
With our family being involved within the equine industry, being exposed to horses was a daily occurrence from the time I was born. I started riding at a very young age on our family roping horse that taught me how to ride. My show career started with being involved with the 4-H program in our county to attending breed shows with my Mom.
How I came into the ABRA world, I purchased a weanling eight years ago from the Pitzer Ranch, Heza Hilt Two Watch who is a Buckskin gelding. He was my project to raise, and I broke him to ride myself.
T-Bone (his barn name) and I have accomplished many goals, including the multiple ABRA World and Reserve World Championships, and ABRA Honor Roll awards. I look forward to competing on him as an amateur in the future.
I always look forward to attending the ABRA World Show, and I am looking forward to the 2019 World Show.
