2021 Youth Ambassador Contestants

2021 ABRA World Show

Every summer, ABRA holds its World Championships at the Built Ford Tough Complex, Tulsa Expo Square in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The dates for 2021 are July 19-24, 2021, with July 18 as move-in day.

 

Exhibitors from all over the U.S. and Canada compete in over 200 classes in the Open, Amateur, Ranch, and Youth divisions. Awards for each class include ribbons to 10th place and Champion & Reserve Champion Trophy Buckles. There are 17 All-Around High Point & Reserve High Points Awards- Saddles, Spurs/Straps, and Headstalls. Recently ABRA added Mules to the registry, and Mule classes are offered at the World Show.

 

Over 125 NSBA Classes are offered, with Bronze trophies awarded to the NSBA Champion in each NSBA class. Three exciting NSBA point-earning futurity classes are offered at the ABRA World Championship Show, with $500.00 added money in each class. 

 

  • 2-Year Old Snaffle Bit Western Pleasure

  • 3-Year Old Snaffle Bit Western Pleasure

  • 4-Year Old & Under Hunter Under Saddle

 

These NSBA approved futurity classes are open to any ABRA or Buckskin Bred registered horse. Horses entered in any NSBA approved futurity or NSBA standalone classes require membership with NSBA. Horse owners and exhibitors must be current NSBA members to compete in these futurities held under current NSBA Rules & Regulations. 

 

Money-added classes are offered, and this year's money added classes are:

  • Open Yearling Lone Line $2,000.00 added 

  • 2-Year Old Longe Line $1,000.00 added

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to capture their World Show experience with photography by Larry Williams Photography. Shopping is available through various vendors, including Tioga Territory for World Show merchandise. The general public can enjoy watching the show through the show's Livestream service provided by Walton Webcasting.

 

Sponsorship opportunities are available as well as advertising in the ABRA Official Souvenir World Show Program. The World Show program is a beautiful souvenir piece that holds all the World Show resources, pre-entries, and advertisers. Printed copies are available to exhibitors, and an online ebook is available online.

 

Youth is a primary focus at the ABRA World Show competition, with daily fun activities offered. The show kicks off with the Youth Judging contest, with individuals and teams competing in a full day of judging mock classes. Also featured is the Youth JR/SR Ambassador contest. Youth are presented with age-appropriate patterns to perform as part of the competition to win the chance to represent ABRA as an Ambassador. Each year the ABRA award a youth are awarded a College Scholarship and a YES (Youth Education Support) Award. The official presentation of these awards is presented in a formal ceremony at the World Show. 

 

The World Show offers convenience to our members of entering the show and reserving stalls securely online. The World Show offers all its resources, including an online class list, on its responsive website for easy viewing across multiple devices.
